The second handset from LG’s new ‘L-Series’ has now landed in the UK as a SIM free phone, the new LG Optimus L7 AKA the LG P700 joins the entry-level Optimus L3 and offers the latest Android operating system along with LG’s own NOVA screen technology in an extremely sleek and angular design.
LG Optimus L7 deals can now be ordered for a SIM free and totally unlocked phone allowing the user to use their own SIM card, UK network releases are expected shortly for this new LG smart phone with many lower end contract deals offering the handset free of charge.
The main TFT LCD screen of the Optimus L7 measures a good 4.3 inches and uses NOVA technology for vibrant colours and precise detail, the display dominates the front of the phone which uses LG’s new L-Style format of angular corners for a fashionable, sleek and beautiful design and just an 8.7mm thickness, this same design is featured throughout the new range in the lower specification LG Optimus L5 and L3 models.
On the back of the phone is a 5 mega pixel camera which records video at full 1080p HD and features an LED flash and autofocus and the phone is powered by a 1GHz processor and a good sized 1700mAh battery, there’s 4GB of internal memory for storage as well as a micro expansion port accepting cards up to a massive 32GB for extra space.
Running the Android 4 operating system means even better battery management along with a host of new features and a fast and smooth user experience, there’s also access to Google Play for application downloads and the phone connects using Wi-Fi, fast 3.5G networks, Bluetooth and GPS.
