The Nokia 600 comes with NFC support

The Nokia 600 is a unit which is due for release soon. The handset is an impressive mobile phone with numerous advanced features and functions, all of which are processed by a 1 GHz processor and the Symbian Belle operating system. The unit is a compact and slim line unit which measures 111 mm x 53 mm wide whilst being 13 mm thick and weighing just 100 g in weight. The unit comes with a 3.2 inch TFT capacitive display screen which also provides touch screen functionality, in conjunction with excellent imagery, by virtue of the fact that within its 360 x 640 pixel screen resolution is able to accurately display 16 million colours. In addition the unit provides automation by virtue of the accelerometer and proximity sensors which are provided as standard. The handset comes with ring and vibration alert options with the ability to utilise MP3 ringtones, in addition to a loudspeaker, 3.5 mm jack, phone book with photo call capability as well as call records.

The unit offers a multitude of connectivity options which include high-speed Internet access either through its own 3G connection, offering the means to access the net at speeds of up to 14.4 Mbps, or alternatively the Wi Fi option. In addition the unit comes with class and 33 versions of EDGE and GPRS, as well as blue tooth and micro-USB connectivity. The unit comes with a micro-SD card slot which enables the user to utilise cards to increase the memory capacity of the handset up to 32 GB.

The unit comes with a 5.0 megapixel camera that operates at 2592 x 1944 pixels and takes excellent quality imagery. The camera comes with fixed focus, geo-tagging and LED flash functionality whilst also providing the user with the ability to record video at 720 pixels and at 30 frames per second.
